加影补选 传马华副总会长周美芬将上阵

雪兰莪加影州议席补选日期已敲定，但国阵迟迟未公布候选人，盛传曾是雪州八打灵再也北区国会议员的马华副总会长周美芬，将代表国阵上阵，但她受询时三缄其口，拒绝回应自己是否受委竞选。

她说，候选人由总会长决定，她不会回答这方面的问题。

不过，她认为，加影向来是马华的选区，理应由马华候选人上阵，否则马华未来很难生存。

据了解，马华内部认为，派出女候选人上阵加影补选，除了可吸引女性选票，也能因为很多女选民不满及不接受代表人民公正党上阵的国会反对党领袖安华，曾涉及道德问题和鸡奸案，进而让国阵胜算大增。

也有马华领袖认为，加影选区有半数妇女选票，如果获得当地女选民认同，马华要打倒安华并不是问题，因此有人建议，具全国知名度及了解雪州的周美芬是最适合的人选。

“周美芬是马华的‘强牌’，不论政治经验和背景，都可以抗衡安华。”

针对候选人问题，马华总会长廖中莱说，加影州议席是马华传统选区，因此国阵候选人肯定来自马华，而马华已有初步人选名单。

不过，他说，他不会在报章上讨论遴选候选人的问题，而马华将依据党内的制度来筛选候选人，并由党中央把候选人名单提呈给国阵领导层做最后决定。

对此，副首相兼国阵署理主席慕尤丁透露，国阵最高理事会月底将开会，商讨并宣布国阵候选人。

加影州选区一向是由马华候选人出战，在去年5月的第13届大选中，代表马华上阵的李万行在六角战中不敌公正党的李景杰，后者以6824张多数票胜出。

不过，李万行在加影服务多年，是熟悉当地课题的资深地方领袖，因此虽在大选中败北，但这次补选，他仍在候选人提名名单内。

其他人选据悉还包括马华组织秘书姚伟豪、马青总团长张盛闻，以及属于地方领袖的雪州马青乌冷区团团长彭伟鸿及乌冷区会妇女组主席罗丽娟。

根据电子媒体当今大马分析，马华目前正面临一大难题，即究竟应委派一名足以和安华匹敌的重量级领袖上阵，还是让“羽量级”但却熟悉加影地方课题、拥有地缘人脉优势的基层领袖硬撼安华。

据了解，一些马华领袖从现实角度考量，直言根本没有任何领袖可以稳赢安华，因此，马华若委派地方领袖上阵会更好，毕竟这是一场州议席层次的补选，而且地方领袖掌握“地头蛇”的优势，熟悉当地民情。

补选考验马华与廖中莱

分析指出，无论马华派谁对垒安华，这都将是一场难打的硬仗。

“由于这是马华接连两届大选面对重挫后的首场补选，也是廖中莱首次（以马华总会长身份）领军补选，因此不管最终敲定的候选人是谁，马华在这场补选能否大幅削弱安华的多数票，甚至爆冷胜出，对该党和廖中莱而言，都是一大考验。”
