讀者週五致電《光明日報》投訴說，早在競選期間，他們就看到有人在檳島西南區馬來甘榜設立櫃檯，只要當地選民提供身份證號碼，就可免費穫得印有賠率的“幸運特優獎”票根，一旦國陣勝選，選民就可憑該票根換取200或160令吉的獎金。過後，這名讀者又於週五早上10點發現不明組織在雙溪里蒙惹蘭賀朗一間店屋及丹絨武雅某綜合大廈樓下向出示票根的選民派發現款獎金。

公正黨峇央峇魯國會議員沈志勤接到投訴後，已連同檳州公正黨副主席阿都哈林到雙溪里蒙警局報案，投訴指該組織之舉有如“買選票”，並要求警方介入調查。
