官方新闻社《马新社》最近卷入篡改照片疑云，终打破沉默开腔承认，被指经过篡改的首相纳吉集会照片有“瑕疵”，并且是在传送的源头发现有问题，现从肇事者的动机及可能存心破坏的角度着手调查。

根据《马新社》报道，其总编辑翁书雄表示，马新社已展开初步调查，以调查有关照片遭操弄的指控。

“初步检查显示，这个具有瑕疵的照片是在传送照片的源头被发现。”

这张掀起轩然大波的照片，是于上周六在纳吉的彭亨北根国会选区拍摄。

翁书雄也说，该新闻机构正在更深入的调查，以确认有关人士的动机，同时将确认是否有“破坏”成分。（文摘自当今大马）
