布城关税局副总监沙哈鲁丁（Shaharuddin Ibrahim）今早在上班途中，遭到不明枪手袭击，送院紧急抢救不果宣告不治。

根据《星报》与《新海峡时报》报道，吉隆坡总警长莫哈末沙列证实这起事件。报道称，沙哈鲁丁是在前往布城途中，在布城警察总部附近的交通灯，遭到枪手袭击。

有关枪手骑着电单车，于早上8点40分左右向沙哈鲁丁开枪。在中枪后，沙哈鲁丁的司机急速将他送入布城医院急救。警方目前正在盘问沙哈鲁丁的司机，以及观看闭路电视了解案发经过。
