国际贸易及工业部副部长慕克里将受委领军吉打州国阵迎战第十三届全国大选。

可靠消息说，如果没有意外，一直以来受到父亲马哈迪“祝福”的慕克里在今届大选不但身负着一定要收复吉打州政权的重任，而且在国阵重夺吉打州后，可能是出任吉打州务大臣的人选之一。他现在出任吉打州国阵大选竞选委员会主席。

慕克里是前首相敦马哈迪令幼男，现年49岁，目前是吉北尤仑区国会议员，也是吉打州巫统署理主席。
