曾是虛擬貨幣比特幣（Bitcoin）全球最大交易平台的Mt.Gox，繼本月初停止一切提取後，更於週二消失無蹤。Mt.Gox網站一片空白，交易停頓，辦事處人去樓空。一批示威者前往追討損失，引發外界對Mt.Gox破產的恐慌。日本監管機構稱，由於比特幣像黃金一樣不是貨幣，當局無權介入，使該加密貨幣的可行性引人質疑。
