黃洋達在金鐘發言，指今次雨傘革命是歷史的時刻，有今生冇來世，下一次就把握不到，故今次不能輕言放棄，否則30年之後，就沒有面目向自己的孫兒交代。

雖然亦明白到大家在今次運動中也很累，但黃洋達認為也累不過年年七一都要出來行，如果今次成功的話，下年七一就不需要再行了。
