以色列71岁卫生部长黎兹曼（Yaakov Litzman），在前几天被确诊感染了武汉病毒，已开始在家自行隔离，他的妻子也被确诊感染。
就在上个月，这位部长曾经把病毒疫情与同性恋相连结，他在谈论疫情时表示，武汉病毒是「神对同性恋的惩罚」。
黎兹曼过去也曾发表过恐同言论，像是他曾在国会中称同性恋者是「罪人」。在疫情期间，他也丝毫不顾防疫规定坚持去参加宗教活动。
以色列已进入部分封锁状态以抵抗武汉肺炎的爆发，目前为止，该国已有9248例确诊，死亡56例。
