平息风波毁作品】

槟岛姓周桥《阿公阿嬷》新壁画引起不满的声浪，更被不明人士泼润滑油破坏，本地画家陈首铨心痛的决定让这对《阿公阿嬷》壁画向大家告别，以平息这幅壁画引起的风波及还桥民一个宁静的生活空间！

陈首铨形容《阿公阿嬷》壁画是最短命壁画，他说，当初作画时，出自一片好意，只为了为周桥带来更多欢乐，并没有顾虑到壁画旁的走道桥板陈旧及游客的欢笑声会扰民。

他说，壁画完成之后，他接获一些桥民的投诉指桥板陈旧，可能不胜负荷大批游客一起摆跳跃甫士拍照的重量及震动力，会导致桥身动摇，令他们感到担心与不安。

“在接到投诉之后，我已准备一个温馨提醒游客勿喧闹的告示牌，原本今天会挂上，不料，昨晚壁画已遭不明人士泼润滑油。”他说，壁画已被破坏，加上避免破坏桥民的和睦相处，唯有“牺牲”阿公阿嬷壁画，将它涂上白漆，让它就这样消失。
