巫统大港支会主席嘉马，当然「红衫军」发言人是更为人知的身份。根据消息来源，是被巫统监督的7人帮里的其中一个。

有可能被冻结党籍的其他七人帮成员包括：敦马、巫统署理主席慕尤丁、巫统副主席沙菲宜、前任新闻部长再奴丁麦丁、前吉打州务大臣山努西朱聂、蕉赖巫统支会领导赛阿里。

其中嘉马是916红衫军集会的召集兼发言人，多次发表种族极端言论！

他最近路见不平为慕尤丁撑腰：如果巫统敢开除慕尤丁党籍，最少有100个巫统支部会站出来力挺慕尤丁！

Sungai Besar Umno division chief Datuk Jamal Mohd Yunus, now better known as a spokesman for the 「red shirt」 rally movement, is believed to be one of the seven Umno leaders in danger of being suspended from the party, a source said.

Other leaders also on the firing line, as told to The Malaysian Insider by party insiders, are former Umno president Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, former minister Tan Sri Zainuddin Maidin, former Kedah menteri besar Tan Sri Sanusi Junid and Cheras division chief Datuk Seri Syed Ali Alhabshee.

Jamal is one of the most vocal leaders behind the September 16 「red shirt」 rally, or Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu, and has made racially tinged statements.

He recently said 100 Umno divisions would take part in a covert movement to remove Muhyiddin.

However, Umno Supreme Council member Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz has rubbished this and declared Jamal a nobody.
