大马皇家空军正准备招标，购买多用途战斗机，以取代原有的18架俄制米格—29N战斗机。
60亿汰换18架米格战机？ 传大马政府不久后将招标
《Kinibiz》报道，台风战机制造商“欧洲战机公司”内部消息指出，尽管国防部长希山慕丁最近表示，政府让为决定是否取代米格—29N战斗机，但事实上，大马政府不久后将开始接受献议。
他指出，每架战机包含支援器材、维修、训练的平均成本在1亿美元左右（3亿2200万令吉），因此18架战机的总值约60亿令吉。
