马华署理总会长廖中莱促请人民，特别是华裔，不要听信民联为了第13届全国大选选票而做出的甜言蜜语及各种承诺。

他说，2008年大选显示，民联在执政的州属内并没有履行大选承诺。

“我希望人民不要听信新的甜言蜜语，民联只是开空头支票，不像国阵一样履行承诺。

“如果支持民联，人民将损失，因为民联没有照顾人民利益，而国阵有能力照顾人民及带来发展。”

他今天在文冬国会选区国阵大选机制推介礼上，发表上述谈话，这项推介礼由彭亨州务大臣安南耶谷主持。

廖中莱也是卫生部长兼文冬区国会议员，他相信文冬国会选区的超过6万2400名选民将支持国阵，拒绝民联。

“我相信文冬国会选区的选民将继续支持国阵，以及想要看到文冬成为快速发展的县，而不是落后的文冬。

“政府将在文冬县进行更多发展计划，人民应该支持，让国阵确保这个县将快速发展。”
