基于巴生港口今午5时的空气污染指数高达233，雪州教育局主任马末卡林宣布，巴生县131间各源流中小学，明天停课一天。

巴生港口空气污染指数今日严重恶化，从下午1时开始，就飙升冲破200点，截至下午6时，污染指数更一路飙到241點，处于非常不健康的水平。

根据大马环境局公布的空气污染指数，截至下午6时，全国共有13地区的空气指数处于不健康水平。雪兰莪的巴生港口为241点，属非常不健康水平。

截至下午6时，空气指数达不健康水平的13地区，包括马六甲市（112点）、武吉兰眉（132点）、汝来（171点）、波德申（140点）、芙蓉（147点）、丹绒马林（122点）、万津（192点）、瓜拉雪兰莪（178点）、八打灵再也（161点）、莎阿南（151点）、峇都慕达（166点）、蕉赖（139点）及布城（171点）。
