马华总会长蔡细历说，马华绝不容许党员以独立人士身份参选，因为这严重的违反党纪律，涉及的党员即日就被开除。

他发表文告指出，党在这之前已三番四次提醒，任何党员在大选中抽后腿将被开除党籍，这是没有妥协的余地。

这项宣布即刻让翁诗杰转策略，原任班登国会议员翁诗杰今天并未宣布自行参选，相反地，其昨天甫辞职的私人秘书陈瑶霖将提名以独立人士身份出征，国会班登议席还是三角战，不过是由翁诗杰的 “替身” 上阵。

为了有机会再次在马华东山再起，翁诗杰是绝对不会给蔡细厉找藉口开除，接下来还有怎样的发展？只有一句话 —- “好戏在后头”
